This is a story about the ambition to unleash potential and enhance student capabilities, walking hand-in-hand with learners and businesses to transform Vietnam into a pioneering and sustainable logistics hub in the region.

Fostering a passion in our trainees to advance Vietnam as an innovative and sustainable logistics hub in ASEAN.

Vision

By 2030, ONEX Training aims to train 50,000 Logistics Specialists and 200 Elite Trainers. This will be standardized according to APEC standards and the CBTA methodology, contributing to the overall enhancement of Vietnam's logistics workforce quality.

Through strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, and businesses, ONEX Training unlocks the potential of its learners by providing practical skills training, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging creative thinking, and integrating advanced technology.

History of ONEX Logistics Training Institute

ONEX Training was established and is sponsored by ONEX Logistics Co., Ltd.

With the motto “Learning from Doing” and guidance from leading industry experts, ONEX Training is a pioneer in Vietnam in consulting, training, and providing professional personnel for the logistics, import-export, customs procedures, and supply chain management sectors.

Team of Trainers

Bachelor of Law with over 15 years of experience in Import-Export, Logistics, and Customs Procedures.

“Nowadays, learning new knowledge has become much easier thanks to the development of Internet platforms. You can search Google for lectures on Logistics and Import-Export, and easily find tutorial videos on customs declaration on YouTube. However, you need a practical environment to apply what you’ve learned and to answer the question: “Why is it right, and why is it wrong?”

Former Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Nong Lam University in Ho Chi Minh City, he earned his Doctorate from IFUGAO University and completed postgraduate studies at the National Institute of Agronomy Paris-Grignon.
As a researcher in Oriental Studies, he is committed to delivering optimal business management solutions by integrating modern knowledge with local practices to support sustainable enterprise growth.

He was formerly the Director of ICD Tan Cang Song Than Co., Ltd., holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Economics from Vietnam Maritime University, and trained at the Naval Research and Practice Center in the Soviet Union in 1981.

As a comprehensive logistics consultant, he follows the philosophy that “customers are friends, quality is gold”, always striving to provide optimal and most suitable solutions for businesses

Holding the position of Business Development Senior Manager at GREENFEED Vietnam. Ms. Hương earned her MBA from the University of Wales (UK) in Singapore. With extensive experience in the logistics industry, she has taken on various roles, including business development and executive management at major companies.

“With over 10 years of experience in recruitment, training, and mentoring, I take pride in seeing young professionals succeed in the logistics sector. Especially in sales, I aim to support those who are passionate, willing to take risks, and committed to creating real value for customers.”

Ms. Dung graduated with a major in Business Administration and completed mid-level management courses at FPT University and PACE Institute of Management.

“I have managed and led the Service and Customer Care Department with over 12 years of experience in the logistics industry. To gain practical expertise, students need more than just academic knowledge—they require hands-on skills and real-world experience from the workplace. Through training courses, I aim to provide practical and relatable case studies, helping students prepare for their future careers.”

Graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and holds a Customs Brokerage Certificate issued by the General Department of Customs.

“As the co-founder of ONEX Logistics, with over 12 years of experience in Finance, Customs, and Logistics, I am committed to contributing to the development of high-quality human resources in Vietnam’s logistics industry.”

Graduated with a major in International Business from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, with over 8 years of experience in customs clearance services. Ms. Hiền also holds a Customs Brokerage Certificate issued by the General Department of Customs.

“Each shipment brings a new experience, allowing me to gain a comprehensive understanding and deep expertise in related operations. Passionate about training, I aspire to share the value of real learning and practical application with those eager to explore and grow in the logistics industry.”

Graduated with a Master’s degree in Enterprise Information Systems from Vietnam-Germany University (VGU), with extensive experience in Marketing at companies such as Pizza Hut, Momo, and PNJ.

He has represented ONEX Logistics at international logistics programs, including:

Participating in the Green Freight Logistics training in Thailand, organized by Mekong Institute.
Being a Vietnamese business delegation member at Logix India in India, hosted by the Federation of Indian Export Organizations.
Attending Tilog Logistix, an annual specialized logistics conference in Thailand.

Graduated with a Master’s degree in International Trade from Foreign Trade University (FTU) and completed mid-level management courses at PACE Institute. Currently, Ms. My manages and leads the Pricing Department, with over 10 years of experience in the logistics industry.

This becomes a powerful tool that helps students learn effectively, perform well, and gain a clearer vision of their future career paths.”

Graduated with a Master’s degree in Economics and has over 15 years of experience in the logistics industry, particularly in Dangerous Goods (DGR) transportation.

“I always value learning and sharing knowledge, as these two processes help me grow every day. After more than 15 years working in international transportation and agency relations, I am delighted to have the opportunity to share the expertise and skills I have accumulated with you—those who will continue to advance Vietnam’s logistics industry.”

Graduated with a major in International Economics, holding the position of Customer Relations Director in the Trade Finance and Supply Chain Department, and serving as an internal lecturer at VPBank, with over 15 years of experience in the Finance and Banking industry.

“Vietnamese businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, often lack experience in international payments and trade finance. As a banker, throughout my career, I have always been committed to supporting Vietnamese enterprises in expanding globally. Through training programs, I hope to provide practical knowledge and equip aspiring professionals with the necessary tools to enter the import-export and logistics industries.”

Graduated with a degree in Business Administration from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Huy is a professional trainer for training programs and holds a “Train the Trainer” certification issued by FIATA.

With over 30 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry, he possesses extensive expertise across various fields, including consolidation (LCL shipments), air freight, ocean freight, multi-modal transportation, and MCC at leading companies such as APL Logistics and Expeditors.

Graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Administration and currently serves as a lecturer in the Faculty of Business Administration at Nguyễn Tất Thành University, specializing in Marketing.

“With over 10 years of experience in Sales, I understand that Logistics requires flexibility and innovation. With a strong foundation in Sales, PR, and Marketing, I aspire to accompany you in unlocking potential, standardizing knowledge, and building a sustainable career in Sales.”

Bachelor of the joint program between Hutech and Lincoln University, with years of experience in Marketing at ZIM Line and port operations in the Southern region, including SNP, TCIT, and HUTCHISON PORTS SITV.

Mr. Duong is also the author of numerous articles on maritime transport and logistics published in Saigontimes, and the co-translator of the book Sea Container Transport to 2025.

“With over 15 years of experience in the maritime transport and logistics industry, I am eager to share my knowledge and expertise with my colleagues to enhance the service capacity of Vietnam’s logistics sector.”

Ms. Luong is currently the Head of Customs & Trade Facilitation at the Hai Phong Logistics Association (HPLA). She graduated from the University of Commerce (Hanoi) and holds a certificate in pedagogical training for lecturers.

With over 20 years of experience, she has held various positions, including Accounting, Sales, Production Line Management, Import-Export, and Customs Procedures.

“As a trainer at ONEX Training, I aspire to share the knowledge and expertise I have accumulated throughout my career. I hope that these insights will help students develop their careers in the logistics industry.”

Graduated with an MBA from North Central University (USA) and holds two other Bachelor’s degrees.

Mr. Thoang is a senior customs expert for the USAID Trade Facilitation Program (TFP) and the World Bank.

“With many years of experience at the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the Maritime Administration, as well as agencies such as the Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, I aspire to address technical barriers in trade and customs procedures to facilitate cross-border movement of goods.”

Graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and joined Forbes Vietnam in September 2021.

“With over 15 years of professional journalism experience, including 13 years covering economic affairs, I monitor business activities and policy updates in the industry and finance sectors, serving as a journalist for editorial offices such as Saigon Economic Times, Dat Viet, and Dan Tri.”

Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, specializing in Customs Taxation.

Mr. Tran Phu Quy has over 14 years of experience in the Customs industry and currently works at the Vinh Long Border Gate Customs – Customs Department, Area XIX, with deep knowledge of customs procedures.

Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Industrial Management, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Mr. Tran Duy Khiem has over 16 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics.

Before joining APETECHS, he held several key positions at companies such as U&I Logistics, VIOT, Smartlog, FADO, and Gemadept Logistics.

Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration specializing in Import-Export from the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Huy is currently a digital transformation consultant in the fields of Supply Chain, Logistics, and Fulfillment.

With over 20 years of experience at major companies such as Big C, Auchan, and Pharmacity, he recognizes the strong potential of Vietnam’s logistics industry. Passionate about technology and automation, he aspires to share practical insights to support the younger generation in logistics and help businesses thrive.

Graduated with a Master’s degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law and is currently a member of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association. He has officially joined our team as a trainer.

With extensive expertise and solid knowledge in customs law, taxation, logistics, finance, and accounting, Trainer Lam will make a significant contribution to the upcoming training courses at ONEX Training.
